Glyde Mobility Chews and Powder is a proven alternative that not only controls the clinical signs of osteoarthritis, but also aids in the improvement of joint health and function in dogs.

Glyde has more active ingredients per dose/chew compared to other veterinary joint health nutraceuticals. These include the top three most important: Green Lipped Mussel (GLM), Glucosamine Hydrochloride & Chondroitin Sulfate Sodium.

Glyde uses all-natural ingredients to support normal joint health and function.

Glyde is the only APVMA registered nutraceutical that contains Glucosamine, Chondroitin and GLM all at therapeutic dose levels that work to relieve the painful signs of arthritis.

Glyde Chews provide a convenient way to treat your dog, and are an easy-to-break, heart shaped chew given once daily.

Glyde utilises responsibly sourced beef chondroitin and does not contain shark cartilage. Bovine cartilage is absorbed more quickly and reaches higher blood levels than shark cartilage; it is also a by-product of the meat industry rather than requiring potentially unsustainable harvesting of cartilage from sharks.

Glyde is backed by a 100% Palatability Guarantee.

Studies have shown that the eicosatetraenoic acids (ETA) found in GLYDE have considerable anti-inflammatory activity and the extracted lipids have been shown to possess significant cyclo-oxygenase (COX) and lipoxygenase (LOX-5) inhibitory activity; hence, Glyde seems to be working on the same mechanism as NSAIDs.

Glyde is proud to support the veterinary community through clinic staff incentive programs including discounted Glyde for staff to use with their own dogs.

A vet reviews Glyde

Scot Plummer BVSC (Hons)

Why I use Glyde at South Eastern Animal Hospital and Brisbane Pet Hospital

I am trained as a scientist, as such, I want products that are backed by data/controlled studies. Glyde has these stand alone studies behind it to show that it works.

Green Lipped Mussel (GLM) – GLM has three anti-inflammatory pathways and is acknowledged now as being above fish oil which has two anti-inflammatory pathways.

Glyde is the only product containing all three ingredients (GLM, Glucosamine, Chondroitin Sulphate) in the same chew/powder to maximise both cartilage nutrition and inflammation control.

Prior to Glyde becoming available as a chew, I had used the powdered form for many years (and still do) straight on the dry food I feed my dogs (previously two Blue Heelers and currently a Kelpie and  Shar Pei and a Cavoodle).

At the first signs of arthrits, we advise the use of Glyde to support the joint health and control inflammation.  We also recommend using Glyde alongside Zydax 100 injectable to stop the subchondral bone inflammation along with advice around both weight control and exercise modification. This is the prime cause of ACL destruction in the vast majority of dogs. Currently we perform this surgery 1-3 x daily and do over 300 of these a year via MMP (Modifi ed Marquet Procedure).

We advise the proactive use of Glyde and Zydax after every orthopedic joint procedure, starting the next day and the use of Glyde onoing daily between Zydax injections to avoid arthritis issues long term.
