The newly launched PatchPets connects dog owners from Australia and around the world via an app that enables them to find park pals for their pets with the PatchPets dog park map.

The social app was spearheaded by Brisbane pet owner Josh Fritz to provide an online space for dog owners to find pals for their pets while creating a fun and interactive community dedicated to dogs.

“It’s no secret Australians love their dogs with two in every five Australian households identifying themselves as dedicated doggo parents,” Fritz said.

“PatchPets connects these dog owners and their dogs, instigating an active pet community of like-minded dog lovers and their beloved pooches who come together for playdates and outings in their local neighbourhood.”

PatchPets is for the exclusive use of dogs and their owners, enabling users who have joined PatchPets to feature their dog’s profile complete with a profile picture, their geographical location, and their dog’s breed and age.

PatchPets app users are then able to scroll through the pet profiles on the PatchPet app and, using the available categories, narrow down the perfect play date in their area.

PatchPets also has an extensive directory of recommended pet-friendly cafes, hotels and groomers.
