The Bondi Junction Vet Hospital updated their digital systems. Bondi Junction Vet Hospital are part of the growing number of practices updating their initial, sometimes second, digital system to the latest, faster and more reliable RAD-X DR range.

In this case Drs Julia Crawford and Ray Chan upgraded their aging Fuji Capsula CR System with a RAD-X DR CX3A 701C Mobile System. This is a completely wireless 35x43cm DR panel that integrates seamlessly with their existing x-ray system.

Mobile refers to the system being able to be installed on a mobile trolley and then be available in the X-ray room, surgery for intraoperative X-rays or anywhere else around the practice. This is helpful in mixed small and large animal practices. The improvement in image quality and processing software functionality are astounding. Many of the shortcomings of earlier offerings have been overcome, improving productivity. We even had another site say the upgrade from their Fuji Prima to a RAD-X CX3A DR had, in effect, saved half a nurse’s time.

The team at Radincon are happy to demonstrate the RAD-X CX3A or in-clinic CX4A with the Canon CXDI 701C or 710C DR panels, check out your existing system and offer a changeover investment level.

This month, we’re also pleased to announce the release of the LOGIQ™ V1 Vet Portable Veterinary unit, a black and white unit ideal for basic veterinary practice. It has a 15 inch non-reflective screen, and multiple user customisable presets. There are a variety of transducers for small animal work, equine tendon or reproductive studies. It offers multiple data storage options including jpeg & DICOM USB storage. It also has HDMI output to connect to an external monitor. You can save time by using the AUTO OPTIMISE function.

Advanced image processing using Coded Harmonics, Speckle Reduction Technology & Spatial compounding is used to allow excellent image quality.

The system includes measurement options for basic distances, area and circumferences to assist with tendon injury measurements. The system also includes GE Raw Data functionality which allows you to recall images to adjust image, measure, annotate and save stills from previously saved clips.
