Farm fresh pet supplements of potted pet grass and potted catnip from Pet Greens are now available via online subscription delivered from the farm direct to customers.

Pet Greens— supported by celebrity vet Dr Katrina Warren and her Maine Coon cat King Leo—contain vitamins, minerals and antioxidants to supplement the existing diet of small indoor pets.

“As more and more of our precious pets are living indoors with us, it is more important than ever that we pay attention to meeting their specific mental and physical requirements,” Dr Warren said.

“It’s about creating an enriched environment for cats and other small pets like rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, small dogs and even lizards.”

Pet Grass contains chlorophyll, vitamins and proteins, and in the case of cats in particular, provides insoluble fibre that can help with digestion and hair balls.

Catnip encourages play in some cats and can be used as environment enrichment. It also may have a calming effect, helping some cats with anxiety.
