With a dedication to animal welfare, Fear Free and the World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) have joined forces to bring affordable access to Fear Free Certification to veterinary healthcare teams around the world.

Since 2016, Fear Free has provided online and in-person education to more than 50,000 veterinary and pet professionals. By closely listening to the needs of the veterinary profession, Fear Free focuses on emotional wellbeing, enrichment, and the reduction of fear, anxiety, and stress in pets. Both individuals and veterinary practices can become Fear Free Certified.

Fear Free has promised to provide the following pricing for the Veterinary Professional Certification Program to WSAVA Member Associations:

  • Complimentary registration for all Tier 1 WSAVA Member Associations
  • 50 per cent discount on registration Tier 2 WSAVA Member Associations
  • 20 per cent discount on registration to Tier 3 WSAVA Member Associations

“Fear Free can’t fulfill its mission of alleviating fear, anxiety, and stress in animals without reaching professionals in under-served areas,” Fear Free founder Dr Marty Becker said.

“This partnership with WSAVA makes the program accessible to veterinary team members in regions struggling with access to educational opportunities. We’re proud to be working together for the benefit of people, pets, and the veterinary profession.”
