AVA conference ready to runThis years AVA conference will be taking over Adelaide from 22–27 May. The conference has been running across Australia for the past eight years bringing vets together to learn about innovations across the veterinary industry.

The AVA conference is set to have a series of both national and international speakers with a keynote address in each unique stream: equine, cattle, practice management, welfare, behaviour, sheep and small animal.

Plenary sessions will be run daily to educate and entertain, with in an introduction from Dr Robert Johnson, the AVA’s president.

For a little non-educational fun social gatherings will run across the weekend, with a gala dinner to cap of the weekend.

“This year’s program has something for everyone,” says AVA president Robert Johnson. “With sessions covering welfare, behaviour, unusual pets, horses, cattle, sheep, dentistry, conservation biology and more, the hardest thing delegates will have to do is decide which session they’d like to attend.”
